Darlene DeaconMs. Deacon is a character actress and a member of the Screen Actors Guild.  She has appeared in several television productions and is a former television news reporter and producer.  Her past credits include a featured role in a FOX television series called "Super Force" and a movie made for USA Network television entitled "Red Wind."Darlene Deacon She has performed in a number of other films, television shows, hosted and co-hosted talk radio.  Darlene is also listed on Actors Access, which is accessible for Talent Agents and Casting Directors through Breakdown Express.

Darlene's work as a news reporter included crime and investigative pieces plus more technical stories at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL formerly known as INEEL) as the INL Special Reporter.  She later produced the 6 & 10pm news for KIDK-TV - a CBS affiliate -in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Darlene got her start in television news at FOX's WSVN-TV as a newscast writer and assisted producers in any way needed.

Darlene has co-hosted with nationally known radio talk show host, Dick Farrel and was fill-in host of the same show.

Darlene got her broadcast education at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in North Palm Beach, Florida and studied creative writing at Broward Community College.

Ms. Deacon has also written and edited many publications and marketing materials for the Barry Financial Corporation’s marketing division in Boca Raton, Florida and is currently working on the finishing a manuscript (TBA).

 

Darlene was the daughter of Gloria Jean Argraves born in Waltham, Massachusetts as Darlene Ellen Wells.  She was adopted at the age of three by Fred Rayner and became Darlene Rayner.  Darlene grew up in logging country in Northeastern Maine.  She says (with a smile on her face), "They took away my ballet shoes and handed me an axe when I was nine."  She married becoming a Bickmore, but divorced by the age of twenty-five.  She later found her paternal father, Robert Paul Deacon, who never knew she existed.  That's when she changed her name so she would finally have her father's last name and a new middle name of his choosing becoming Darlene Roberta Deacon.
